THE JOURNAL
The Romanian Journal of Cardiology is an international, peer-reviewed, open access, multidisciplinary journal, engaged in publishing original and review articles of the highest scientific and ethical quality in a wide range of basic, clinical and experimental research areas, covering all aspects of cardiology and its related specialities.
Case reports, Editorials, Commentaries and Letters to the Editor, Images in Cardiology are also considered for publication.
It is the official journal of the Romanian Society of Cardiology and it is printed 4 times a year, in March, June, September and December. Romanian Journal of Cardiology also publishes supplements with abstracts of papers presented at the annual scientific sessions of the National Congress of Cardiology.
The language of the journal is English, and the abstracts are published both in English and Romanian.
The journal is based on independent and unbiased double-blinded peer-reviewed principles. Only unpublished papers that are not under review for publication elsewhere can be submitted.
There is no publication fee for authors in the Romanian Journal of Cardiology.
The journal is Open Access that means that it allows readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and allow readers to use them for any other lawful purpose.
